Cultural/Traditional Sunday

Last Sunday was cultural/traditional as well as thanksgiving Sunday. A lot of people put on traditional attire so i decided to capture their beautiful, creative and innovative styles. Enough writing, let the pictures speak for themselves.

Happy Independence Day Nigeria

Today Nigeria is 55 . Happy Independence Day to her. She may not be where she wants to be yet but she is definitely not where she was before. There was a parley today at the school chapel. A debate held during the parley. I have my personal opinion about it but I still want to put the question out there: Do you think the Nigerian government should grant amnesty to Boko Haram members if they willingly surrender?

Fashion Blog?

Over to today's post. I wore this outfit some sundays ago. I was trying to go for a simple and nice look without looking like I was trying too hard. I think it also works for the boyish type of girls or if you just like boyish stuff (like me ;)). So sorry I may not be able to be posting details (I will for the ones I can, though). This is because my details may not be very helpful to you. It would probably be filled with "my mum bought me this", "my sister gave me that" and "I stole this one from my friend" lol...yes, they love me like that :) You can try to recreate the look though, and send me pictures of it.

The look: white blouse with black polka dots, dark brown/black pants, blue creepers (shoes) that match my bag. And if I'm doing a match match thingy, I'd say the white part of my creepers match my blouse, lol. Feel free to leave your comments below. Have fun.
